Section 1
Introduction

Selene Privé operates under Swiss commercial transport licensing and adheres to structured operational standards applicable across all service categories. All confirmed bookings are subject to the terms set forth in this document unless a separate written agreement has been executed between Selene Privé and the client or contracting institution.
These terms govern the relationship between Selene Privé and its clients with respect to ground transportation, chauffeur services, airport transfers, delegation logistics, and any associated coordination provided by Selene Privé personnel. They are intended to ensure consistent service delivery, clear accountability, and transparent commercial conduct at all times.
Where a bespoke service agreement has been signed, those terms shall prevail. In the absence of such an agreement, the following provisions apply in full. Selene Privé reserves the right to update these terms with reasonable notice to registered clients and institutional partners.
Document Status
These terms are binding upon written or electronic confirmation of a booking by either party.

Applicable Framework
Swiss commercial transport law and cantonal licensing requirements govern all operations.

Custom Agreements
Institutional clients may request a bespoke service agreement in writing prior to first engagement.
Section 2
Service Scope Standards
The following standards apply to all Selene Privé service engagements as a baseline operational commitment.

Licensed Chauffeur Service
All chauffeurs hold valid Swiss professional transport licenses and are trained to institutional service standards. Client confidentiality and discretion are maintained at all times.
Commercially Insured Vehicles
All vehicles are Swiss-registered, maintained to manufacturer standards, and carry comprehensive commercial transport insurance compliant with Swiss law.
Real-Time Flight Monitoring
Arrival times are tracked in real time via flight data systems. Chauffeurs are informed of delays automatically, ensuring punctual presence without requiring client notification.
Standard Airport Waiting Time
A complimentary waiting period of 60 minutes from the confirmed or actual landing time (whichever is later) is included with all airport transfers, unless a different duration is specified in the booking.
Winter-Equipped Vehicles
During the alpine season (typically November through April), all vehicles are fitted with certified winter tires and carry legally required safety equipment for mountain road conditions.
24/7 Dispatch Coordination
Selene Privé maintains continuous dispatch availability year-round. All active bookings are supported by a duty coordinator reachable by direct line or designated communication channel.
Section 3
Waiting Time & Overtime

Included Waiting Time
Each confirmed booking includes a standard complimentary waiting period. For airport transfers, this is 60 minutes from confirmed landing or updated actual arrival, whichever is later. For point-to-point and event transfers, a 15-minute grace period is included from the scheduled pickup time.

Overtime Billing
Waiting time that exceeds the included period is billed at the applicable hourly rate for the vehicle category assigned to the booking. Rates are confirmed at the time of reservation and are denominated in Swiss Francs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Billing Increments
Additional waiting time is calculated in 15-minute increments. Partial increments are rounded up to the next full quarter-hour. Overtime charges are applied automatically and reflected in the final invoice or post-service settlement statement.

Special Event & Congestion Conditions
During high-demand periods — including Davos Forum week, major Geneva conferences, and alpine resort peak seasons — extended waiting time may occur due to traffic, road access restrictions, or venue protocols. Selene Privé will communicate anticipated delays proactively. Standard overtime rates apply; no surcharges are added for congestion conditions alone.
Section 4
Booking & Payment Terms

Written Confirmation Required
All bookings must be confirmed in writing — by email, signed order form, or designated client portal — prior to the service date. Verbal or informal requests do not constitute a confirmed booking.
Prepayment Requirements
For new clients and all bookings below institutional account status, full prepayment is required to secure the reservation. Accepted methods include bank transfer and card payment via secure link. Invoiced accounts are available to qualified institutional clients upon application.
Reservation Secured Upon Payment
A booking is considered confirmed and the vehicle reserved only upon receipt of payment or issuance of a formal booking confirmation to account clients. Selene Privé does not hold provisional reservations beyond 24 hours without financial commitment.
High-Demand Period Policies
During periods of peak demand — including the World Economic Forum in Davos, Geneva Motor Show, and major alpine holidays — full prepayment is required for all clients, regardless of account status. Bookings during these periods may be subject to minimum service durations and advance booking requirements communicated at time of request.

All prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) unless an alternative currency is agreed in writing. VAT and applicable cantonal taxes are applied in accordance with Swiss law and itemized on all invoices.
Section 5
Cancellation Policy
This tiered policy applies to all confirmed bookings. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the designated Selene Privé contact to be valid. Cancellations received outside business hours are logged as of the next business day unless the emergency contact line is engaged. Where booking-specific terms differ, those terms take precedence and will be communicated at the time of confirmation.

1
More Than 30 Days
Flat Charge of 50 CHF. Balance net amount are refunded within 10 business days.
2
30 to 15 Days
25% of the confirmed booking value is retained as an administrative and reservation fee.
3
15 to 2 Days
50% of the confirmed booking value is retained. The balance may be applied to a rescheduled booking within 30 days.
4
Less Than 48 Hours
75% of the confirmed booking value is retained. Rescheduling is at the discretion of Selene Privé subject to availability.
5
Later
The full booking value is charged. A no-show is defined as failure to present at the confirmed location within 30 minutes of the scheduled time without prior notice.
For bookings during designated high-demand periods, modified cancellation terms may apply and will be stated explicitly in the booking confirmation. Selene Privé aims to provide clients with maximum flexibility within the constraints of operational commitment.

All cancellations are managed by our administration team. Any applicable refunds are issued by bank transfer, net of administrative fees and payment processing charges. Due to the nature of the booking arrangements, refunds cannot be processed through the original payment provider.
Section 6
Shared Transfers & Coordinated Arrivals

Selene Privé offers coordinated shared transfer services for delegations, institutional groups, and multi-arrival events where multiple passengers travel in a single vehicle from a shared point of origin. These transfers operate within predefined arrival windows agreed upon at the time of booking.
Departure from the pickup location is triggered by the confirmed arrival of the final passenger within the agreed window. Where a passenger has not arrived within the specified window and no updated arrival time has been communicated, the departure protocol will be initiated at the coordinator's discretion to ensure punctuality for all remaining passengers.

On-Site Coordination
For complex arrivals involving multiple flights, terminals, or transport modes, Selene Privé can deploy a dedicated on-site coordinator. This service is available at an agreed hourly rate and must be requested in advance. The coordinator liaises directly with chauffeurs, airport staff, and the client's representative to ensure seamless logistics execution.
Operational Principle
Shared transfers are structured as an efficiency measure — consolidating arrivals reduces total vehicle movements, simplifies coordination, and lowers per-passenger cost without compromising service quality.

Arrival Window
Defined at booking stage. Standard window: 90 minutes from first confirmed arrival unless otherwise agreed.

On-Site Coordinator Rate
Available upon request. Billed at the applicable hourly rate, with a minimum engagement of two hours.
Section 7
Alpine & Winter Operations Notice
Selene Privé operates extensively in Swiss alpine environments, including routes to and from Davos, St. Moritz, Verbier, Zermatt, and surrounding mountain regions. Clients engaging services for alpine destinations should take note of the following operational conditions.

Variable Travel Times
Road conditions in alpine regions are subject to change without notice due to snowfall, ice, avalanche risk, and temporary closures. Published transfer durations represent estimates under standard conditions. During winter operations, actual travel times may exceed estimates by 30–60 minutes or more on affected routes. Selene Privé monitors conditions continuously and will advise clients of anticipated delays.
Buffer Time Recommended
Clients are strongly advised to incorporate sufficient buffer time when planning alpine transfers in connection with flights, train departures, or time-sensitive engagements. Selene Privé recommends a minimum buffer of 45 minutes beyond estimated travel time during peak winter season. For critical departures, a 90-minute buffer is advisable on high-altitude routes.
Winter-Equipped Fleet
All vehicles deployed on alpine routes during the winter season are equipped with certified winter tires meeting Swiss road regulations. Vehicles carry snow chains where required by cantonal road authority directives. Selene Privé does not dispatch vehicles on alpine routes when conditions are assessed as beyond safe operational parameters, and will communicate any such determination immediately to the client.
Section 8
Force Majeure

Selene Privé shall not be held liable for failure to perform or delay in performance of any confirmed service where such failure or delay arises directly from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. The following constitute recognized force majeure events under these terms:
  • Severe weather conditions rendering road travel unsafe, including but not limited to avalanche, heavy snowfall, flooding, or black ice
  • Temporary or permanent road closures ordered by cantonal or federal authorities
  • Airport closures, runway restrictions, air traffic control disruptions, or extended delays outside Selene Privé's control
  • Government directives, public health measures, or emergency civil orders that prohibit or restrict vehicle movement
  • Civil unrest, strikes, or security incidents affecting route access
Reasonable Efforts
In the event of a force majeure situation, Selene Privé will make all reasonable and commercially practicable efforts to identify and arrange an appropriate alternative — whether a rerouted transfer, delayed departure, or substitute vehicle — and will communicate the situation to the client or their designated coordinator without delay.

Swiss Law Alignment
This force majeure clause is interpreted in accordance with Article 119 of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO), which governs impossibility of performance. Where an event qualifies as force majeure, neither party shall be deemed in breach of contract, and financial liability in respect of the affected service shall be limited accordingly.

Client Obligations
Clients are encouraged to maintain appropriate travel insurance covering ground transportation disruptions, particularly for high-value or time-critical engagements during alpine season.
Section 9
Limitation of Liability
Selene Privé's liability in connection with any confirmed service engagement is defined and limited as follows. These provisions are designed to reflect a fair and proportionate allocation of commercial risk consistent with Swiss transport industry standards.

1
Liability Cap
Selene Privé's total liability arising from or in connection with any single service engagement shall not exceed the confirmed value of that engagement. This cap applies regardless of the nature of the claim, unless gross negligence or willful misconduct is established.
2
Exclusion of Indirect Damages
Selene Privé shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses — including but not limited to missed flights, lost commercial opportunities, reputational damage, or costs incurred from substitute arrangements — whether or not such losses were foreseeable.
3
Traffic & Weather Delays
No liability is accepted for delays caused by traffic congestion, road conditions, weather events, or circumstances outside the direct operational control of Selene Privé. Estimated transfer times are provided in good faith and do not constitute a guarantee of arrival time.
4
Personal Belongings
Selene Privé accepts no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal belongings, luggage, or valuables left in vehicles, unless such loss results from demonstrated negligence by Selene Privé personnel. Clients are advised to retain valuables on their person and to check the vehicle upon departure.
5
Claims Procedure
All claims must be submitted in writing — to the designated Selene Privé contact address — within 7 calendar days of the service date in question. Claims submitted after this period will not be considered, except where applicable Swiss law provides otherwise. Supporting documentation should accompany the written claim where available.
Section 10
Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Applicable Law
All services provided by Selene Privé, and all contractual relationships arising therefrom, are governed exclusively by the laws of Switzerland. The Swiss Code of Obligations, applicable federal transport regulations, and relevant cantonal commercial law form the legal framework within which these terms are to be interpreted and enforced.

Jurisdiction
In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with a service engagement or these terms — and where the parties have not resolved the matter through good-faith negotiation within 30 days of written notice — exclusive jurisdiction is conferred upon the competent courts of the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland.

Language of Proceedings
For the avoidance of doubt, in the event of any discrepancy between versions of these terms in different languages, the English-language version shall prevail for the purposes of interpretation and legal proceedings. French and German translations are provided for reference only.
